Mark, Lisa and their team - Steve, Matt, Ollie and Pete repaired 9 badly decayed sash windows on our Victorian house in a conservation area. The work was finished to high quality, beautifully done and beautifully painted. The team was careful and considerate throughout. They kept to time and came in slightly under the quote value, accounting for elements of the original frames that they were able to repair rather than replace. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for work in a heritage setting.

This is the second time we have used Sash Window Experts, and we went back to them for hardwood double-glazing of our second bay window because we were so pleased with how professionally they worked previously, and the excellent results. They were prompt and attentive as ever - real experts in their field. We're delighted with the standard of their work, and would highly recommend them. The windows look great.
Update: We have now (May 2024) used Sash Window Experts for the third time for hardwood double-glazed sash windows for our kitchen and second bedroom, to complete window renovation in our flat. They're as professional as ever, prompt and efficient, clean up well after themselves and the work was completed to a high standard in two days, as they said. We continue to recommend sash Window Experts.

I cannot praise this company enough. Mark and the entire team, who renovated all the rotten, old and drafty sash windows in our small flat, have been amazing. Gary, Steve and Ollie were, without exception, professional, courteous, great craftsmen and clean and tidy. They say good things are worth waiting for - and so it turned out when commissioning Mark's team to refurbish and draught proof 6 sash windows of varying states of disrepair in a very old house. We had to wait ~3months to get expert refurbishers and all round good guys Pete and Ollie in, as they were inundated with orders (always a good sign!). The quality of work and craftmanship is first class - everything is explained and any changes to scope dealt with sympathetically but thoroughly. Highly recommended. Professional, exceptionally tidy and lovely people to do business with.

I was extremely impressed with their work ethics right from the start of having a survey through to the date of work being set, the workmen arriving and carrying out the work to the invoice being provided. Mark and his team are amazing. They restored our sash windows and doors. Mark is really knowledgeable and passionate and explained the process to me so I knew exactly what they would be doing. Once the work commenced I was amazed by how well they draft proofed the windows. They took so much care and the guys were polite, tidy, timely and a joy to have around. Used these guys to do a total refurbishment on the windows of my 1870s Victorian Villa style house. Incredibly happy with the work and the guys doing it are just superb. On time to the minute every day, clearly take pride in the work they do and super friendly. Would not hesitate to use again!

Our house is Edwardian and has the original sash windows from 1906. I really want to make sure that any double glazed windows did not look out of place - so the woodwork, including the side bars etc should still be very thin to match the originals. I was fearing ending up with fat wooden bars but Mark took me to see a previous customer and I was happy to see the woodwork there and it put my mind at rest. We went for the thin Krypton windows. Now the windows are in they look very good and match very well. To be fair to everybody, we will not know until the winter how well they remedy our warmth and condensation issues in the house but are confident we made the right choice.
Other suppliers would not do separate window panes and instead would only do a large window with a false wooden strip down the middle to make them look like two. We did not want that.
The carpenters, Steve and Gary turned up on time (early actually) and got on with the job very efficiently and left no mess behind.
I am very happy with the company and the windows.

Mark, Gary and Dave have done a fantastic job repairing our Georgian sash windows this last week. Considering ours were broken and painted shut and 200 years old, they now look and work like new. Worth every penny and you couldnt meet a better group of guys to work on your house. Everything was left spotless. I'm really pleased with the work and service. They turned up on time, were polite, friendly, did a great job, cleared up their mess and left. The window itself now glides up and down smoothly and hopefully the new brushes will keep out the draughts in the winter.
