Had the inner panel of my pvc back door replaced and also had a brand new fully composite front door fitted with satin glass and the number of my house above. Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Really neat work and everything left tidy. Front door has done wonders completely stopping a draft from before and also massively cancelled out noise from the outside. Definitely recommend!

Fitted all new windows and doors. Windows weren't fitted properly as now water ingress all round frame! Reported to landlord repeatedly but they didn't resolve despite my protestations. This firm should resolve the shoddy workmanship as legal requirement. The windows leak and that's the only point I'll make about how those windows were fitted! I guess this review is self explanatory This is an update : Apparently Alternative Doors Windows aren't accepting responsibility for shoddy workmanship at this point as my landlord contacted independent contractor to resolve the problems with the windows.
I've lived here, in this property, twenty five years and the windows that they replaced never leaked. I have a background in law and wonder what is actually happening here? I will get to bottom of this, and will update once it's clear. I would advise that as firm doesn't accept responsibility for faulty workmanship not to use!

Just had secondary glazing fitted in my bedroom as I live on a main road.had oustic glass fitted it has made a huge difference and a fantastic price as I had some silly quotes from other companies well pleased with the job hopefully get a good night's sleep thanks Nigel and Pam

Doors not fit for purpose, badly designed and badly made. ours started to fall to bits within 18 months of fitting a very expensive double patio door set. when we called alternative they offered to fix 1 hinge but wanted to charge us 800 plus a call out fee of over 100 with now a total of 3 broken hinges, 2 broken handles, 8 broken seals they want more than a new set of doors to fix the problems. 8 of our neighbours got the same doors at the same time (new build estate) every single one of these doors has broken in the same way as ours with alternative refusing to fix each one.
We have now heard through another alternative customer (that had the problem fixed elsewhere) that these door designs were altered shortly after we had them fitted due to not being fit for purpose however alternative have refused to deal with the problem even suggesting to us we call someone else to try and get it fixed. below is a picture of the broken hinge (now fallen completely off )that is apparently worth 800 and the large gap in the doors its absence creates. avoid this company as once they have your money they do not stand by their sub par products.

I met yesterday with our Customer Liaison Committee, one member who is also a board member has recently had her windows done and gave me some feedback. She was very pleased with her new windows and the fitters who installed her windows they were prompt pleasant and polite, everything was covered and they were very clean and tidy.
