Ford Windows

I would not purchase new windows from this company. I have lived in my house for 4 years, a new build property with windows supplied by Ford Windows, and in that time 4 of the window handles have broken. Although the website says the windows are guaranteed for 10 years, this does not cover the window handles. Very poor quality. Do not buy!

Got a new build which is perfect apart from this comperny windows and doors that are fitted there shocking back door will not lock and missing parts and the quickest they can come to resolve this is a month away customer services is a joke after trying to arrange a new date with them to come out ended up agreeing to the original date, for them to reply we don't work weekends I am referring you back to your builder. yet the date is not even on a weekend

However this company get any work is beyond me, shoddy windows, shoddy workmanship and extremely rude and incompetent customer service I've had nothing but trouble from day one of moving into my new build in 2018,w hy large building companies give them contracts I'll never know. AVOID

The Fisher Price of windows and doors, absolute joke of a company. Bought a house from Taylor Wimpey in 2019 with this company's windows and doors fitted, had them out twice to adjust the French doors, the bedroom window whistles like a flute in the mildest of breezes, again been out three times and adjusted window and added little plastic bits to supposedly make it close properly but done nothing, lad from Ford said if these (plastic bits) don't fix it, the whole frame will need to be replace now ignoring all contact via Email, Phone and Taylor Wimpeys 'Touchpoint' Unfortunately we could not avoid using this company

If i could give a 0 rating I would! Avoid this company at all costs. We have had problems since 2019! Back doors that are awful, windows that still need sorting and a front door that constantly doesn't close and lock. They make appointments and don't show up or they cancel the day before by a voicemail. If yoy don't want the stress I advise finding a small family ran company nit this cowboy company

Do not use, cheap products with multiple defects, my new build windows were filthy, scratched and shoddy, the manager Natalie is ignorant, rude and does not tell the truth

Purchased a new home with doors and windows supplied by this company just over six years ago. The patio door has had the same reoccurring fault that was "supposedly" fixed several times during the warranty period. The door was last fixed less than 18 mnths ago and has only been opened a handful of times and we are now no longer able to open again due to the same fault. Ford are now refusing to attend as its out of thier warranty period, despite them clearly not resolving the issue from the outset. Rude and unhelpful customer services. Avoid!

Purchased a DWH newbuild with Ford windows. Do not use this company! Three Georgian windows that rattle - been told we need to pay extra for anti-rattle Georgian bars as apparently "this can sometimes happen and is expected". This despite the fact that they've been out three times to measure up to replace them as faulty and their last fitter thought I was joking when I told them about the extra costs!

Very poor cheaply made windows. Purchased a new build with these windows. All the windows in the dining room had to be replaced because if scratches and marks. Windows in the bedroom are not sealed properly and are nosy, but it's past 2 years so they're not interested. Will have to replace then myself soon. Avoid purchasing a property with this companies windows installed

If only you could give zero stars! I can't begin to explain how rubbish this company is. They have fitted the windows and French doors in the last two new build properties I've owed and both houses have had number of issues with the windows and doors. So much so that I've now had 3 windows and a set of French doors replaced on my current property, and I've given up on the other issues. Therefore, workmanship is poor, they have no respect or any customer service skills what so ever.

I also know people who have purchased new homes from other builders and again Ford windows installed their windows, and again nothing but issue after issue. Please please avoid this company.

Photo attached of a Ford Windows van parked regularly (everyday in past fortnight) in Stannington area. Totally blocking the only pathway (there isn't a path on the other side of the road), forcing pedestrians to walk on the road without being able to see traffic from one side as the van is so high. In a densely populated area with lots of elderly and young children. If you support this company, you support selfish and inconsiderate individuals like this.

The worst Ford windows installed our windows in our new build home Had to have glass changed because scratched on installation, Key locks stop working Water ingress on the widows during rain Have had them round 8 times to fix various defect and still there fixes are not fixed very poor workmanship Customer service is horrendous can't find a time to work around people who actually work for a living Monday - Friday between 9-5 Would never use Ford windows ever.

Unfortunately no option to rate 0 star. Purchased a new build with Ford windows. The installation is poor with damage marks where the installer poorly fitted the windows. The handles are stiff and one of the door lock is broken. Clearly cheap fittings and customer services are not helpful, ignore emails and don't return calls. Stay away as they are a dreadful company to deal with.

Miller homes fit ford windows. Ours are misaligned where plastic bars fit across panes of glass and most panes are very badly scratched. Handles are stiff to operate on windows. Be aware if you buy a new build you have to report defects within 7 days. We were unable to do this because of lockdown.

Told to send photo of latch/handle. No reply for a week then told when I rang back they didn't do it in that colour anymore (it is White) oh and it's not under the Ten Year Guarantee anyway. It's in the spare room, not been opened more than a dozen times and is a fire escape window.
